Hear the movement.
Alternating left and right audio, with adjustable pitch, volume, timing and sound. Shape a rhythm that suits your session.

SOUND. LIGHT. TOUCH.
A connected approach to bilateral stimulation. Bring alternating sound, visual movement and wearable touch into one thoughtfully controlled experience.
Built for focused sessions. Designed around you.
ONE RHYTHM. THREE WAYS TO CONNECT.
Set the pace. Fine-tune the feeling. Affect Forge puts the elements of bilateral stimulation within reach, with controls that adapt to the session you want to create.
Alternating left and right audio, with adjustable pitch, volume, timing and sound. Shape a rhythm that suits your session.
A smooth visual pulse with a flowing tail. Choose its colour, direction and motion, on your phone or a dedicated screen.
Connected AFFECT BLS units bring alternating haptic pulses to the experience, coordinated with the mobile session.
Session and interface conceptCONNECTED, WITHOUT THE CLUTTER
Keep session controls close and give the person taking part a simple, distraction-free view.
Pair the mobile app with Session Studio to adjust settings and manage sessions from your browser.
Copy a private, time-limited client link for a visual pulse display on another screen—even remotely.
Timestamp-based visual timing and live tuning updates keep the display connected to your session.

SPACE TO BE PRESENT
Audio, visual movement and haptics, with the flexibility to choose what belongs in your session.
Wearable and session conceptA WINDOW INTO THE RHYTHM
The AFFECT BLS wearable is being developed to combine haptic stimulation and optical pulse sensing in a compact companion.
With a compatible connected sensor and a clear signal, the app and web interface can show a live pulse estimate. When the signal is unavailable, the display says so.
In development
These images illustrate our wearable vision. Hardware, sensor features and interfaces may change; EDA sensing shown in the concept is not currently available. Pulse estimates are not medical measurements.

Trauma is experienced in the body, too. During therapy, a client may appear calm while experiencing heightened physiological arousal. The Duo Ring is being developed to help practitioners follow these changes through electrodermal activity (EDA), alongside conversation, observation and the client’s own account.
Designed to be worn across two adjacent fingers, the Duo Ring keeps its electrodes in contact with the skin to measure small changes in skin conductance. These changes are influenced by sympathetic nervous-system activity. The palmar surfaces of the fingers have a high concentration of sweat glands, making them a useful measurement location. Presented as a session trend, EDA can give practitioners an additional point of reference for discussion.
Activation is not always visible in expression, movement or speech. EDA offers another window into changes during a session.
Patterns of rising activation, stabilisation and recovery may inform a shared decision to continue, pause, ground or explore further.
When distress is hard to describe or put into a number, physiological trends can offer context while respecting the client’s own account.
Some clients, including those with autism, ADHD, alexithymia or interoceptive differences, may find subjective scales difficult to use. When internal sensations are hard to identify, describe or quantify, physiological monitoring can offer another point of reference for collaborative discussion.
FROM SETUP TO SESSION
Open your clinician invitation to create an account. Clients use a separate shared display.
Open Web control in the Affect Forge mobile app and pair using its code.
Adjust your session, connect compatible devices and share the client display when needed.
A FEW THINGS TO KNOW
Here, bilateral stimulation means alternating cues between the left and right sides: sound through headphones, visual movement on a screen, or pulses from connected haptic units.
A clinician Affect Forge account, the mobile app and an internet connection. Keep the app open while using web controls. Headphones deliver the alternating audio; compatible AFFECT BLS hardware is needed for haptic stimulation and wristband pulse sensing. Clinician accounts are invitation-only. Access does not include hardware or install the app.
Yes. Pair your app, then copy the client link from Session Studio. It opens a focused visual display without access to your session controls. Links expire after up to eight hours and can be revoked. Network conditions can affect remote timing.
Affect Forge is a developing bilateral stimulation tool. It does not diagnose conditions, replace professional care or provide medical-grade physiological readings. Any therapeutic use should be guided by a qualified professional.
Your name and email identify your account. We store a password hash, never your readable password. Clinician invitations and password-reset links expire and work once. Paired devices stay associated with your account. Mobile session notes and personal ratings stay on the phone; browser access includes paired session controls and any pulse recordings saved through Session Studio.
